March 2014 Newsletter

Dear [subscriber-firstname],

Welcome to the first edition of the Sunshine Coast Community Financial Services Limited e-newsletter.

This is a new initiative for our shareholders, customers, sponsored organisations and other interested parties so we can keep you up to date about the acitvities of our three Community Bank® branches at Cooroy, Marcoola and Tewantin.

We plan to send these newsletters every two months and to also cut down on the printing and distribution of our hard copy newsletter as part of our committment to environmental sustainability.

In conjunction with the new newsletter we have also launched a new website - www.sccfsl.com.au which we urge you to visit from time to time as it will be updated regularly.

We also have experienced fantastic growth on the Facebook pages we have for each branch and urge everyone to like one or all of the Facebook pages as another way to keep in touch and up to date on our activities.  See the links at the bottom of this email to be taken directly to each Facebook page.

We'd hope you enjoy reading about all the fantastic things we are doing in your community and would love to hear your feedback.

Noosaville inspiring students to be their best

It’s always great to know your kids are off to a good start. Well that’s certainly the case at Noosaville State School, where Principal Mary McMahon unveiled the school’s leaders for 2014 this week.  “We’re going to be really well led this year. Our 2014 leaders are: Caley Dwyer, Sam Murphy (School Captains) Abby Sturgess, Chloe Blain, Ewan McDonald, Annika Taylor Tessa West and Hayley Williams (Vice Captains)," Mary said.

As for the positive messaging from the school, the school sign is sponsored by Tewantin Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank, and it’s just one of the many ways in which the branch supports the school.   “We’re happy to support the annual Reader’s Cup and inter school debating competitions, the Chess Club, music programs and of course the sign at the school, as well as sponsorship of the Life Ed van that visits Noosaville and surrounding schools,” said Branch Manager Wayne Hoens.
